Country Store
I think everyone has one of these. The walls and floor are an example of "foam core into wood" from an article by Joann Swanson. I made the furniture and the produce. The barrels in the foreground (hard to see) are a mini band given to me by a very dear friend.
Flowers by Samantha
The building is based on
another article by Joann
Swanson. This is an
example of her "foam
core into brick". I made
all of the shelves, desk,
plants and flower arrangements. The little white rolling step stool was made from two furniture protector caps.
Bathroom on a Wall
I got this idea from a display at Michael's Craft store. It hangs above the potty in my bathroom. The planter is a bell and the trash can was made from plastic canvas. The white towels are from old tube socks turned inside out.
Indian Theme Room
I made this for another niece who collects American Indian items. This is another "pre-digital" - next time I visit her I'll try for some better pictures.
Tea Time
I had been looking for a teapot suitable for building a mini scene in with no luck then came across this tea pot plaque at Michael's. This is another "pre-digital" so the clarity is not good. Too bad as this was my first use of a router to make the shelves and chairs.
Dragon's Castle
This was made for another nephew who collects dragons. The "stones" are embossed paper (another DIY article from Nutshell News by Joann Swanson). I added a music box that plays Camelot.
